I had THE best baklava I ever had here, topped with THE kindest service. I really want this business to do well. Such a lovely place. I was visiting Sacramento over the weekend and wanted to pick up Afghan meal plus dessert. I stopped by around 9:30pm on a Saturday evening, and I guess I got lucky. They had freshly baked baklava along with some house-recipe cookies. So glad I stopped by and will do so when I’m in the area again!
I was around this area and googled a place near me that sells baklava... wow!!! This place has one of the best baklava I have ever tried. I think I can confidently say best in Sacramento and at great price. I had to turn around and come back for the rest of the tray (what was left).
Tried the baklava based on other reviews. Yes indeed it was delicious. My daughter is a pastry chef and gave it a thumbs up. The owner Mertada is also very sweet and kind. Will definitely be back.
The Afghani Bread is best here. Its has no sugar and any other artificial or flavor. Staff are friendly. %100 recommended.

This gem is right down the road from my house. A lot of goodness packed in this small store.. Take a look.. They also have a good selection of beans, traditional breads and groceries. This place will be in repeat.

They have a great selection of fresh bakery items, groceries, and delicious food. One of the best things is that they stay open really late, which is super convenient when most places are already closed. Clean store, great atmosphere, and amazing service.
